Full sun favors light and matte finishes
Dark gloss gets hot to the touch and shows dust sooner. White, beige, and cement gray stay cooler and look clean throughout the season.
Near water, choose gloss or satin
Splash marks remain on a matte surface until rain washes them away. A sheen helps shed them.
Indoors, matte reads like furniture
Under warm lighting, a gloss coat reflects highlights. Matte sits quietly next to wood and stone.
Metallics need a light source
The metallic flake is most visible in direct sun or under a spotlight. In shade, it can appear flatter and shift toward gray or brown.
