A finish behaves
differently outdoors.
Full sun favours light and matte
Dark gloss gets hot to the touch and shows dust sooner. White, beige and cement grey stay cool and read clean all season.
Near water, choose gloss or satin
Splash marks sit on a matte surface until it rains. A sheen sheds them.
Indoors, matte reads like furniture
Under warm lamps a gloss coat throws highlights. Matte sits quietly next to timber and stone.
Metallics need a light source
The flake only does its job in direct sun or under a spot. In shade it flattens to grey or brown.
