What we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, and how to get it deleted.
What we collect
Order details: name, delivery address, email, phone and what you bought. Payment is handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
Site data: pages viewed, referring site and rough location from your IP address, collected through analytics cookies.
Why we collect it
To take payment, make and deliver your planters, handle warranty claims, and answer your questions. If you opt in, to email you guides and occasional offers.
Marketing email
We only email marketing to people who asked for it. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order and delivery emails are not marketing and are always sent.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart and session working. Analytics cookies tell us which pages help people and which do not. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser without breaking checkout.
Who we share it with
Only the companies needed to complete your order: our payment processor, the freight and parcel carriers, and our email platform. We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years for tax and warranty purposes. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for 26 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@plantersetc.com and we will respond within 30 days.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what has been collected and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and payment is processed by a PCI-compliant provider. Access to order records is limited to staff who need it.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to anyone on our list.
